Regarding the constant bible quotes.............it's nothing more than circular reasoning.

In my opinion, there is no christian, muslim, jewish, buddhist, atheist, daoist, Hindu (insert any of the 200+ religions of the world) morality.

There is only human morality.

Strip away the dogma, the cultural differences and the geographical borders and we, as humans, are pretty much the same. We have the same experiences. We love, we lose, we hate, we grieve, we feel joy, we fall to temptation, we deal with the duality of character. These experiences are parroted through mythology/theology, legends, fables, allegory and metaphor. Everyone has a story to tell regarding experience and their perception of it, and anyone can relate to just about anyone else's story at one time or another. There are atheists who are some of the most compassionate people in the world..........the Dalai Lama, for example.......and there are Christians (or name one of any other religions) who are as morally bankrupt as the pond scum humans evolved from.

Morality evolves, as we have seen throughout the history of human evolution. We learn morality by our own experiences and the common sense to know what causes pain and suffering, what fosters the survival of the human race and other living entities, and what doesn't. No instruction manual to tell us how to live is needed. If you believe humanity/morality would perish without religious doctrine (example; the ten commandments posted on walls or erected on courthouse lawns) or need an instruction manual in order to figure these things out, then you are probably the one who needs those "commandments" more than anyone.

Actually bree I think that mathematics is the language of creation. Without complex numbers and complex number calculus and the results that stem from these concepts like hypercomplex numbers, manifolds, symmetry groups and Minkowskian geomentry, there is no way to discuss much of creation. We wouldn't even be sitting here in front of computers without the understanding complex number maths that has brought to us the ability to make sense of creation.

Maths exists BEFORE we discover it. It's a true gift from God who wants us to discover the true depth of His creation for ourselves.
