i'm determined to have a new job by then, but if not... July would be out for me stupid sale

so that covers me 'n Crash_McLarsen/Aquabat64x

well june rocks because i think the early n middle of the month i wont be in courses, july is feasible jsut need to miss a class or three, am jsut tryign to get a mental approximation on when so i can figure out what i'd need to do"Honestly... people who wouldn't be caught dead in a bad movie or ill-fitting clothes will go months or years with the wrong person! Early July would be perfect.
Less hot than later in the summer.

Not done with work (teaching) and cannot get away at all in May.
Silly contract rules about taking NO personal days the last month of school.

And am doing a family trip in June.

Perhaps just tack up another poll?
Get a fair assessment of when now that we have the where.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who used to spend as many as 26 days out of every month in a hotel room somewhere in the U.S....

Why not have someone contact various potential locations in the New Orleans area, and find out what kind of seasonal rate variations there are. Lots of popular tourist destinations have definite "high" and "low" seasons.

For example, in the Florida Keys, rates from November to Memorial Day are double what they are the rest of the year.

Vegas always has great rates in late summer/early fall, and you NEVER want to try to go during COMDEX.

Summer season rates on Long Island will give you a heart attack, IF you can even get a room.

etc., etc., etc.

I think you get the idea....

Find out when or if the rates would be best during the general timeframe you are considering. The more affordable it is, the more people are likely to be able to attend.

Just my two cents...

Excellent idea Thruster.

*nods*
I'm guessing cost will be a factor for everyone wanting to attend.
