| | | | | I am almost to embarrased to ask but Lynksys does not even have a solution. Simply , when I am on the remote connected computer, and any one clicks on a gaming sight on the main compy....(Especially (POGO.....ughhhhh, who goes to POGO? ) they can play one game...as soon as they switch to another...WE all fall Down!!...this sucks...this keeps me up at night....(cuz everyone else is sleeping and I can be in here at my leisure...and makes me late for work.(so if too many late to works...I get fired..I get fired..no more tiny support for the Pork once I realize it is Net or Saltines with reduced canned olives...)) So..Help |

| Sounds like you need a fatter Internet connection... |
| | | | | | well, while a double sized PLUG might LOOK like a solution...I am still trying to figure this out . Trust Me bro if money was no option I'd have the "phatestst" net but it is so I ask. |

| | | | | | Lee no, I am on RoadRunner/Cable it is only a problem when gaming sites are accesed. As I said the main gaming site is (POGO) , for whatever reason it shuts down both computers when hooked to the router. Otherwise no issues. The remote is Linksys and the router is a Belkin . Except for that and a few other gaming sites there are NO issues or lack of access from any of the computers. I shut down the router and directly plug in the main computer when that happens..the site is ok with direct computer links but has issues with the gates in the router.
For me the Web help sites for Pogo, Belkin, and Linksys , are technical heavy in thier guidance, I need to to be told how to open the gates like I would tell people how to change a battery in a car.
It is Not a Pork bug, which is why I posted here. It is a Me bug |

| Sounds strange... they shouldn't shut down your Internet connection, even if the ports aren't open.
I thought most of those gaming sites have HTML tunneling these days... much the same as our Flash Based Chat... if the system can't connect via a port that may be blocked by some routers it'll go over a HTML port instead.
I'd contact the gaming site and ask them .. what the hell?
What model router do you have? |
