I'm using firefox at those times and it happens for me. Last night around 8:30 est as well. Every morning this week, with the exception of this morning.

Cradz, me three.

I either look in and lurk or chat at various times of the day, for varying lengths.
Things seem to start if I surf away into another tab for a bit. The minute I get back to the Pork tab, it starts hanging up during refresh.
I'll stop and refresh up to three or four times, then voila, refresh. It then continues, with no pattern in timing.
Now having said that, it'll also happen if I've been continually posting.

A few weeks ago, during the Pork Idol event, I used IE and never experienced a single hang up.
At one point, I tried running the browsers side by each and Firefox would hang up and IE would not.

It bloody well beats me what the problem is. Since this issue was first reported some months ago, any tweaks you might have made helped, a lot. It's nowhere near as bad. It's still happening though.

Case in point - after submitting the above response, it hung up.
After 45-50 seconds I stopped and tried again.
Then it worked.

k..

It must be a server side issue with Firefox then. I will be setting up a new server soon to replace the current one (and use it for voice/chat server) so hopefully with a different server fully patched up it may fix this issue.

I think I have a slight idea what the problem is but without taking the site down for a few hours I won't know and it may not work.. lol .. so best just to wait until the new server next month.
