I can only echo the sentiments I have read...Mav, my heart goes out to you and Cheryl's family. It's true that it is never easy to lose those we hold so dear. From experience I can share that we must all seek comfort in family and friends. Time is the only process that heals.

I too was blessed to know the woman who became "jels"...when I first met her she went by JellyDonut, in the Park. In fact, JellyDonut...who then became JellyD...before getting to jels...was one of the first women who ever spoke with me. It was a very quiet night, I was struggling through a nasty divorce and with a teenage daughter who was forever testing my patience. That night...I peeked into my first ever chat; listening to jels, BOLD, and kelly....talk of life, love and children. It was if their conversation was calling to me...I POSTED, and my chat life began. I believe this was in 1994/5.

Over the past 12 years it mattered not when I bumped into her...she was cheerful, helpful, delightful and warm. I am truly blessed to call her friend. Did ya'll know that she was crafty?? During her times spent at home she worked on all sorts of projects (*winks*..not just MAV) to keep herself busy and to share herself with friends. When dubu and I were married just over 4 yrs ago, she sent us the most beautiful counted cross-stitch that she made. It shares 4 pictures of lighthouses in the 4 seasons of the year. When I look at it...it gives me great honor to have known such a caring woman. Although her season on earth with us has ended; I am certain that heaven is a better place...without pain or discomfort.

Please take a moment to hug yourself for her...and take a moment to realize how precious everyone who comes into our lives can be. She would want that.

Forever...she will be my friend.

To Jels and her family~~~and to Mav~~~~

As Jels memory emerges, it is very clear she will be dearly missed and long encountered inside the hearts of many.

We never know where life and love will take us OR who will come into our lives and bring meaning with them. The meaning they bring is our *keepsake* to cherish...for always.

With warmth and compassion ~~Sarahhh

my deepest sympathies to Jel's family and to Maverick. I am so sorry for your loss. Jels was a wonderful lady and was always a pleasure to chat. I will miss my fellow Nana.......We were both so proud to show each other the grandbabies. I feel blessed to been able to be a little part of Jel's (Cheryl's) life.

God Bless her family and Mav..................hugs~

My sympathies also. It's so very sad when a community member passes away before their time.

sending my condolences to Jels' family and friends

having lost 3 close family members myself in the past year i can imagine the loss felt

like Tess i first met Jels in the park, then in the various other sites we chatted at

Jels always had a hello and a smile for me...when several years ago she started the pickem league for football, i of course was there to play...but if ever i forgot to set my teams for the week...she was always there to take care of me to make sure i got them in*S*

she will be missed by many

sends love and hugs to Mav as i know he is feeling a great loss and emptiness himself

God Bless
