i have sat, and i have listened and even investigated deeply into this "religion, and i have a few questions.....

1) Why are only "RICH" people in this religion?

2) Why hasn't the government stepped in on this "religion" for it's tactics on women and children, which in my eyes, is abusive. (They seem to shut down the mormons and Poligamy damned quick)

3)Are these celebrities really that STUPID that they believe in this whole cult idea of the almighty Xenu coming down and saving them, after he supposedly already killed off 70 million souls?

it seriously distrubs me to know that these people that have such high ranking idol status, therefore, role models for many young people coming up into this world, and yet they aren't smart enough to realize that the creator of this "religion" was a science fiction author who couldn't hack it. He even STATED PUBLICLY ON NATIONAL TV, that the real money maker out there, is if you make your own religion.

i just read up on a celebrity who finally grew a brain and quit, and what he had to go through and what he was "punished" with over the 14 years of him being in this cult.....

......now i am not a religious person in my own right, i believe everyone has the right to choose, but for some reason, this "religion" really sets me off on a rant.

*What other religion shuts you away for days at a time, and makes you drink only vegetable oil for 3 solid days to "cleanse yourself"?

*What religion makes you have a completely silent birthing process and then takes your newborn baby away for 3 solid days? (notice the three theory here?)

these religions make them into complete robotic shells of themselves....has anyone really had a look at Suri Cruise lately? Or any of Tom's other kids? Suri especially, my gawd, when has that kid ever smiled? those eyes, they show emptiness and sorrow and what two year old should look like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders? Shiloh Pitt was born the same year, and yeah, her parents are globe trotting freaks, but look how happy her and her siblings are?

i guess being a woman this affects me more, because of the status that women seem to have in this sorry excuse for a religion.....no, it isn't a religion, it's a cult, and it sickens me to know that people are willingly allowing their children, they mothers, their wives, their g/fs to go through this.....let a man give birth and see how silent he will truly be. *rme*

I am not a fan of Katie Holmes and never really have, but that woman is in sheer distress, and so is her daughter. But because Tom has all that money backing him up, and the wills of scientology and what not, she may not truly beable to ever get away and be safe, and raise that child to be a happy productive member of society.......the child is given no structured discipline, no treats, no real showings of love, and not even given a chance to enjoy being a child. That is my eyes, is abuse, and it has to be stopped. I don't care how popular Tim Cruise is, the man sickens me and i will never ever watch any of his movies again. I also wonder why Katie is always seen with large dark glasses on these days.....

Again, if only to belabor the point, look at the roots; an ex-science fiction writer who decided religion was an easier road to wealth than actually getting paid by the word.

engrams, who shoot down into you from some orbiting moon off of mars...

Getting "clear"...

Viewing smoking as people acting out their prior existence as volcanoes.

It goes on and on and on...

L Ron Hubbard -- Scientology
Joseph Smith -- Mormonism
Mary Baker Eddy -- Christian Science
Charles T Russell -- Jehovah's Witness

what do they all have in common?

They (with the exception of Joe Smith--although his followers aren't doing too badly) died rich. They're still dead.
Nuff said.

The depravity of man is at once the most unpopular of the Christian doctrines and yet the most empirically verifiable. - Malcolm Muggeridge
