Had a long weekend, lost an ls mate because he got all upset about them asking him to be brd or blm, when he has a sam and a mnk to offer too.... for god fights. :/ So, drama abides, and it blows. and not in the good way.
We did the rest of my group's CoP fight, and now i have 8 people asking me how we're gonna do the next three paths. i don't think i like being a leader, but i'm [Mega Boss]y according to some, so they all ask me what to do. I dunno if i'm bossy, i'm just more vocal is all 
why don't you just come and be me, and do my CoP for me? but, you can't have my character running around naked (i got a rep to maintain), she's gotta have some clothes on, even if its the summer wear clothes. lol

and even though the party wiped too the spamming of tribulation, poisonega II, and Thunderga III once or twice
besides the fact the pld...
died again after a mind purge and water IV ...which did like 915 dmg.
and even though we had to fight like 30 mobs
because it seemed like it was one of those blu days...
where we're all tards and seemingly have to fight
100 mobs just to learn 1 simple spell.
...after like 5hrs ...and some serious downtime between every fight...
in the end it was all worth it. 104/105 on spells now. *mwahahaha*
although... now I'm kind of a broke hume...
but I can make that gil back in 3-6 weeks tops

| | | | OMG, i so want sea!! i logged in the other day and get a /tell "can you help me with a quest? i need 6 mithras" so i was like, meh, why not, its a 100k scroll and some newer people just don't have that kind of gil. I hop over to the watchtower through N. Sandy, and on the way I was invited to party. I zone in and there's another 75thf mithra, with full Homam set. *drools* and brutal and boxer, and then they showed me their haste set up, they're SATA set up, and their solo set up. OMG, i sooooo want it. come to Bismarck and help me through CoPs, i'll make it worth your while...
and my smn is only gimpy (lvl 22) because i'm so busy doing other things (but, i was badass smn in the dunes since i have allllllllll my avatars). Besides, whm/sch is where its at, i won't need a rdm or a brd. so pffffffft on them. lol - but i gotta work on that too. my sch is lvl 5. (its sooooo boring)
and yeah, i remember the Soulflayers in Mire. a rng buddy was pulling since it was my first time out there, and about halfway through an imp, all of the sudden i see "Kat, zone, now" then i see "The Soulflayer casts Flood on Katatonic" /groans, 1 shot cuz my shadows had been down from an imps -ga spell. *mutters* i'd like to kill them out of spite now.
Now we have a new guy in our ls, who wants to take on.... *drum roll* that corse NM in the chasm. :/ evil wicked things.
Well, hopefully you won't be going for all your spells then decide to retire your blu. What job is next that you'll obsess over? I'm working on my sam, and my blm. but my thf is next on the list to pimp out, my whm is doing ok with sky gear and almost full merits atm.

Yeeeah, those Soulflayer ain't to be trifled with.
They're too overpowered, gotta kill them fast
or they'll just go to town on you. Since they represent those illithid mobs
from old D&D games ...I suppose that's too be expected from them.
Uck... the Corse mobs...
I remember trying for their "Memento Mori" a year or so ago...
more an annoying spell to get than anything else...
very time consuming.
*siiiigh* they make most Blu spells entirely useless too...
Mind Blast is one of the few exceptions.
It cannot be resisted by any type of mob.
But body slam for example...
the dragon mob you learn it from can use it
and do over 1000-1200 AOE but.... when blu uses it,
it only does about 72-170 AOE dmg
quite worthless and leaves something to be desired....
I'll prolly lvl Rdm, maybe...
if My Blu every hits 75 and I get the very last spell for it.
Blu is only 73 currently. Only need Asuran Claws now.
I'm scaaaaared to lvl Thf...I feel so helpless
without any magic. And not always so easy
for a melee-type to get an invite ...At least not compared to Brd...
with Brd 75... a person can get an invite in like 3-5 mins.
