For some reason, i'm not getting emails letting me know that my pager messages have been read....however, i know the pager messages ARE being read because i've gotten replies to them! Before the fire/server issues, i didn't have any problem, i got them all the time but since the fire, i've not gotten a single one and i haven't changed anything at all.

Any ideas, Cradz?

I'll see if i can see what's going on tommorrow... probably my beta server I'm working on is sending out duplicate emails... opps..

Oh i see how it is, i get NO emails and liri & Jills get EXTRA? Sheesh, now i know where my emails are going, liri and Jills are getting all of them! *g* Kinda greedy, i think! *lol*

OK,

I think I've fixed the duplicate issue. Looks like I still had thepork.org running as a seperate site so that was sending out email too.

{sweetmissbehavin}Razor ... you probably had a bad email address on your account and when I receive bounce back emails from our system I deactivate the email feature on accounts with that bad email address. I receive a lot of bounce backs every day so I don't send a message to the member but I really need to create an admin page to automate the updating of that setting and send an automated pager message to the member.

Go to Registration Details and make sure your Email Address is correct. Next you'll need to go to Email Settings and check the features you wish to use.

oh you're right midnight ... I did update all Hotmail accounts to turn off pager notifications because it was causing a lot of spam issues.

You can turn it on if you're a hotmail user btw as we're now being accepted by Hotmail. Just don't count on getting email to hotmail though as their system is anal and quite frankly I wouldn't use their service.

They seem to block legit emails such as ours yet I still get spam on my hotmail account... go figure.

Oh, good to know. -off to check that-
I never had problems receiving the notifications with Hotmail, myself but maybe I was alone in that. It did get sent to my junk folder but so does a lot of other stuff and I'm just too lazy to update my whitelist.

In the future if you could mark our emails as "non junk" that'll help them see we're not spammers and you should receive them in your Inbox instead.

At this point I just can't guarantee delivery to Hotmail and Yahoo as I've done everything I can (all my DNS records are clean and setup correctly) and the only thing I could do is pay to be on their whitelist which I simply refuse to do.
