Which, is interesting to say the least. They are going to be taking a lot of pictures but they do have a question.
Why is it people ask them, or tell them to call when they get there and then no one answers the phone? I don't have an answer, but I am sure that certain people will be able to provide them.
Anyway, they are going to be there until this saturday, so if you want to get in contact with them, go ahead and pager me and I will get you the number. That is...if you are on the list -winks-
Anyway...
I am being forced to write this....I have no more informations so....yeah....

| | | | -snickering- From what I understand she was guilted into going, then again I personally think she wanted to go with the kids anyway...the whole mother thing and all -smiles- but either way she is there now.
Snowy: I will pass that along to her, I don't think she was too sore after the ride, but I did hear that there was a lot of motionsickness on the ride...seems long trips do not sit well with the kidlets.

| | | | Greetings from Tahoe!
I'm coming to you from the lobby of the hotel we are staying in, and we've been having an interesting time to say the least. Went to the lake, and froze or butts off, kids of course having a great time despite the wind.
Snow is still covering much of the mountains here. Not enough to ski or play in as it's at the REALLY high altitudes, but it makes for beautiful picture taking.
And yes, we are taking lots of pics, and tomorrow, we are possibly going up in a gondola, in order to take pics of the whole area.
Nifty thing about our hotel, is it is literally on the CA, Nevada border. And Right next to this place, is a Hannah's Casino.
I have played 3 bucks in the slot machines, and came out even. Those familiar with our luck, Breaking even is the awesome.
Also of note, Yes, Kells was "guilted" Along. But for a good reason. I really wanted this to be a FAMILY vacation, and one we'd never forget. And I certainly don't think we will.
On ANOTHER funny note....We found the gallery of one of Pork's more well known individuals, and just thought it was really cool to see some of his work in person. Way epic.
We've been doing lots of fun family stuff, food has been great, free drinks in the after noon...Of which, Liri has discovered she likes Kahlua and Creams, where as your resident redneck has been fond of the ever popular Bud draft.
Now, we will be leaving to come home on Saturday morning, and SHOULD be home some time around 5 pm, if all goes well. The trip up here was a little rough, due to driving wicked twisty mountain roads at 10 at night. Resulted in little Nate getting sick in the van...which had Liri joining in a bit later when we stopped.
It was gross. Seriously. And I had to clean it. Even MORE gross.-lol-
But on the way back, the planned route is going to take us through Yosemite national Park, and a crapload of waterfalls. Will be taking LOTS of pics, and when we get home, we'll be getting the pics to a disk so we can share with everyone!
As far as phone calls go, we tried calling 4 different people, and we are sorry if we couldn't get through to you for what ever reason, but we'll try to call everyone again when we get home. Apparently, we put some milage on the phone card.-lol-
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well, and we will see everyone on Saturday night!
Also, we MAY have a surprise for everyone on Monday....kind of a wait and see at this point...
And NO, it's not another kid.-lol- |

| | | | yup 'guilted' but in a good way, and we had fun for the most part.
well, we're home. got home about an hour ago. nixed the Yosemite plan since it added on those 3 extra hours.
trip was awesome, throat is hurting like a bitch, can barely swallow anything, so keeping hydrated has been interesting. i had NO voice yesterday.
our phone is currently restricted to local calls until we catch up the phone bill Monday morning.
Came home, and discovered our apartment had been broken into. Grafitti on the wall, ps2, wii, and dvd stolen. along with 40-50 movies, and about as many games between the two systems. oh, and Rids' bike.
currently waiting on the cops to show up and take a report. *sighs*
so yeah. we're home.
and we get to stare at the lewd grafitti on the wall, which says:
Bust One! with a picture of a penis cumming beneath it (hairy balls to boot) X3 SUR written next to it, and the taggers name of nightowl.
i took a picture, the maintenance man took several pictures of it all, but until Monday, nothing can be done, because the maintenance man wants the manager to come take a look at the wall, plus he needs the police report number as well. *sigh*
