Month by Month unemployment rate for past year.

The loss of jobs started when the Democrats gained control of the US congressional budget process and it continues. Looks like double digit this month.

you wish to be honest about why this is happening? try Capitalism without failure...is like Religion without Hell. And at least I spell it right.

I want to congratulate the USSA for being ahead of wonderful Canada - and most of the EU countries...in the un-employed market..
- truthfully now, if the true figures were not cooked to represent a much lower value, it is actually 15% jobless..
But let's not admit the truth..
...and the great part is, there is much much more bad news to come..
WHAT ever happened to the greatest nation on the block?
Good bye car manufacturers, good bye banks..
Good by thousands of small businesses..

No better said then taken from a tune by John Legend and Brandy

(on the same note,
..it is estimated that 1.7 million Americans are applying for Visas in other countries.)

The news said the sky is falling, the globe is warming
My country warring, leaders are lying, time is running
Low and low baby
No where to go ..

Doncha hate it when the magic instant pixie dust doesn't work?

But I'm sure those of y'all blaming the unemployment rate on President Obama will come back here and give him full credit when unemployment goes down - right?

As honest as any president I guess.. mind you, to halt the mess Bush created, was near impossible for anyone.

Most of the current problems can be related to laws that have been passed all the way back from Carter through Bush II....

2 things have happened...a world crunch for energy...and a banking industry that made loans to individuals that should have never received one. The banks have retracted loaning...people aren't spending..and won't until they see a piece of blue sky through the clouds.

Shameless, you need to point your fingers at the citizens of this planet who used their credit cards the way some people use their
brains..
a car, a motor-home, an SUV, a bike, a boat, a house they can't even afford to pay as we speak,..every fat kid of theirs has to have their own cell phone...to begin..
..a government did not invent this..NO, nor did companies on their own behalf..
everyone took advise from the buyer, you and me..who had to have just everything - but had zip for money to pay back..

A lot more heads will roll before this hits the bottom..
not even a good war with countless casualties would fix this..

This ride has to come to a complete stop before the new ride can begin..

There could easily be a 20% number attached to the situation by years end..
No-one knows..

SP..don't disagree, but in years past...if you didn't have decent credit...couldn't hold a job..you weren't loaned money...that changed with the laws to make credit available to those that weren't allowed to have it in the past.

Keeping up with the Jones's has become, where do I park my car to sleep.
