individual rights dont change into collective rights because of the date...
if that were the case the govt. could say "no more individual free speech, the collective has newspapers and other media, so individuals are not allowed to criticize the govt."

And what do you think the future holds? If we bury our heads in fiction that was written well over 200 years ago as the out and out truth, we are doomed. Better still you are, We live by a more realistic and modern document. As for your rights not changing, you are naive.
If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true, is really true, there would be little hope of advance......
