I am saying that it is a problem with all of our elected officials including the President. At least some elected officials have come out and said it is wrong or it is right to build a mosque close to Ground Zero. Some elected Democrats, some elected Republicans, some of all of our elected officials of all political stripes have said whether or not the Ground Zero mosque is right or wrong. Our President has not and should. He is elected. That is why the President is blamed, not because he protects the Constitution. All Americans protect the Constitution, Rawhide. That it somehow flies in the face of the Constitution is the biggest joke of all.
Do you understand that the builders of the Ground Zero mosque have the Constitutional right to build the mosque at that site but it is not right to do so claiming you are a bridge builder?
As for the Catholic Church protecting pedophile priests, there was a time when it was thought that pedophiles could be cured. It is said the Catholic Church never changes. It does change and that thinking is one of the changes. I too want priests to be better than man as a whole, Rawhide.

All Americans protect the Constitution
Problem here! About 45% of Americans now do not agree with this mosque, or at least that is the BS numbers being posted on some internet sites. That clearly states that 45% of Americans not only do not protect the constitution, they do not support what it contains. If an American believes in this document, they must follow this document and not fighting the rights it gives it's people, one of which includes building this mosque.
If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true, is really true, there would be little hope of advance......

It does not mater what % of Americans believe in this or that, the law is still the law.
And the law will be enforced, the constitution, was made to protect the minority against the majority. Kinda even out the field you might say!
